Thompson, Manitoba Multi-Sport Facility

Project Overview:

In conjunction with Jumpstart Charities, the town of Thompson was to install a brand new multi-sport facility in the center of town.

Project Solution:

Through Jumpstart’s Inclusive Play initiative, Thompson Manitoba was able to put together a budget for a new play facility for their town. This was the first facility like this in the Thompson area, and included a number of different sports options from basketball, tennis, volleyball, pickleball and even included a sensory area for kids to play hopscotch and 4-square. This beautiful outdoor facility made it possible for kids of all abilities to be able to get outside and play. The addition of the shade structures makes it possible for kids to stay longer because they are able to catch a break from the heat in between their games.
